A huge well done to April's pupils of the month. These pupils are identified by their class teachers as having worked extremely well and to a high standard that meets the whole school values.

S1: Abbie Garmany & Cerys Wintle

S2: Abbi Gallacher & Rhys Thorburn

S3: Naomi Chai & Liam Cairns

S4-6: Holly Dalgleish, Eilis Maxwell, Rebecca McCarron, YYnr Liddell, Anna Baillie, Katie Ferguson, Becca Thompson & Lewis Ewan.

Congratulations to all!

For Maths week 2018, S1 pupils took part in an Equvilanet Teacher hunt! All teachers wore a badge with a Maths question on it, and pupils had to answer the questions to fill in their Teacher Hunt sheet.

It was a fun and exciting challenge for pupils and we are happy to announce this years winners!

1st Place: Anne McPhail and Lizzie Whike with a total of 14 teachers out of 20.

2nd Place: Katherine Shaw with 13 teachers.

3rd Place: Zach Mills with 12 teachers.

A huge congratulations to these four pupils, this was a fantastic effort!

In addition to our Teacher Hunt, we also had a Pi Recital to help celebrate Pi Day on the 14th March.

In tutor groups, pupils had to memorise as many digits of Pi as they could and then write this down. We had an excellent response to this activity, with many pupils showing a great deal of effort! However, 3 pupils stood out to take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

1st: Mitchell Chai - 225 places

2nd: Pok Lo - 80 places

3rd: Harris Ritchie - 75 places.

Well done to these pupils - and to all pupils who took part!
