Religious Observance

The school is required to offer six religious observance opportunities for young people in the year. Please note that these are not religious services but are assemblies designed to make young people think about the issues covered and to take time to reflect. The following are scheduled:

August - School Values - Headteacher

October - Stewardship of the Earth - Chaplaincy team and school Eco group

November - Remembrance - Senior Student Officials

December - Christmas message - Chaplaincy team and school Interact club

January - Resolutions - Headteacher

March/ April - New beginnings - Chaplaincy team

If you'd like to find out more about the Chaplaincy team or would like to contribute, please contact the Headteacher in the first instance.

Parents/ Carers who wish to withdraw their child from Religious Observance assemblies in school should contact the Headteacher.

Religious, Moral and Philosophical education is a timetabled core subject for students in years S1-4 and is delivered by qualified Teachers.
